Hiya! My name is Rozi and I’m an illustrator and creator of comics. Within my work I seek to explore themes of childhood, journeys, interpersonal interactions, anthropology and nature. Since childhood, I’ve always had an interest in applying personalities to objects and creatures, and through the years I have embraced this to develop atmosphere in each piece of work I create. My aim is to give the audience an emotive experience, and to think about the world around them and how we belong, as human beings. I don’t shy away from sensitive and emotive subjects, and the atmospheric effect of my work is suited to both difficult and lighthearted projects.
Having finished my degree as a mature student, I am highly organised, self-motivated and driven; dedicated to completing every task to the highest possible standard. I confidently work to a variety of briefs, with final outcomes including print, digital and some moving image.
When I’m not drawing I love to travel, read, and eat great food! I also practice a rather wonky form of yoga, a rather unbalanced attempt at snowboarding, and I love learning languages.
